The shaft had a key way put in it and a 2.2kw motor / gear box driving the roller.


We had to allow for free access and consider the clearance between the motor and side casing of the machine.


To consider:- we had to take into account that a control panel was in its way. We had to relocate the control panel and fit a unistrut frame to house it on.


Electrical:- we had to house a 3.2kw inverter including a 10amp MCB for the supply feed to fit in.


Control:- the control signal was fed from the Comman and Forward terminals on the inverter.


The signal from the machine is tapped through a 24vdc relay.


Initial set up of the invertor is critical as this needs to be programmed to allow for acceleration and slow down speeds to be measured.
